FAQ
I don’t want to buy from [REDACTED]. Is there any other option?
If you wanted to purchase a copy of “The Map of Baria” for an agreeable price, you might just get a free .epub copy of a book you would want! Hit me up in the contact section if you’re interested. Obviously, I can’t sell them here, as that would go against the contract that I have with [REDACTED].
As a side note, I am working on narrating all of my books, which will be for sale on the website for cheaper than they are on [REDACTED]. It’s a slow process, since I’m the one recording, editing, so on and so forth.
Can I meet those adorable animals?
Absolutely not. Bob has murder in his history and we’re trying to avoid future issues. There’s not much room left in the backyard for the bodies.
Why the pseudonyms?
I don’t want people associating me with my creative endeavors. I have a certain persona I keep at work and would like to keep it that way. If they discover that I’m all cozy and sweet, then they might want to talk to me and I don’t want that.
Why does it look like your website came out of the early 1990s?
Because I am a writer, not a graphic designer. I don’t have the money to pay someone more talented than me to make this look all clean and crispy. It provides information. It gets you where you need to go. I could spend hours working on this or I can spend hours writing. Since this is a hobby, I am opting for the latter.
Do you use any form of AI in creating your books?
I do not. I currently write around 3K words in an afternoon/evening, more if I have the day off. It takes me about a month to finish a novel’s first draft, then I let it sit for a month and come back to do edits. That takes another month or so. Taking The Selenic Sanctum, I started writing at the beginning of August with a planned publication date of early December (at the latest). The fact that I bounce between books is why I’m able to pump them out so quickly. I write almost every day, due to my adoration of the craft. The use of AI (to me) infringes on my creativity and lessens the value of writers everywhere. Sometimes it takes longer to finish a book. Then there are times where I just plow right through it. It all depends on how I’m feeling.
So, all of that to say: No. I do not use AI. I create my own covers (obviously), I edit myself, and I publish myself. As I’ve said before, I do this for the love of the craft, not to make millions.
