The one that started it all! This one really isn’t in the same vein as the rest of the books in the series, but will show where I was going to go with it originally. I think it’s a fun read and it’s also my longest ever novel, so keep that in mind. It clocks in at just over 100,000 words. I’d make an audio book, but it would take me literally days of non-stop reading to get through it. No, thank you.

You would think that Book 2 would take place in Baria, right? Well, you’re wrong mysterious person asking me questions through the computer. This one takes place on Earth, but sets up nicely for the next one, which DOES take place on Baria. Book 3 will make more sense if you read this one first, but I’m not going to tell you what to do.

Book 3 jumps right into Baria and this is really where I felt I found my voice with the series. It was so much fun to write and I hope it comes through in the book itself. Originally, this was going to be bundled with #2, but I felt like being two separate novellas made more sense. So, here we are. Trust me, this is not me trying to gouge you for more money. It just made more sense this way.

Book 4 steps in as being the first book that did NOT take place in Scylisia, which is something I’ve tried to stick with for the rest of the series. This one is also the first one where I included some recipes at the end, which becomes a trend in future books. I’ve been told that this one is one of the “most cozy” ones in the series. So, take from that what you will.

This one really cranks up the absurdity and pushes the word “cozy” to it’s limits. It’s absolutely ridiculous and so riddled with 90’s references, that even my middle-aged friends are like, “All right…maybe don’t put so many in the next one?” Well…here we are. It’s still out there and I’m not changing anything. Read at your own risk. It does, however, sum up this first arc nicely, if I do say so myself.

Book 6 starts a new arc, which focuses on a question that my partner asked me, “If residents of Baria don’t give birth, why do they have breasts?” Obviously, as a writer, I need to formulate a response in the most absurdly ridiculous way possible. There’s even some fun stories on the way! So, come and join us for this next arc!
